The MARMED project has successfully concluded its journey by receiving an outstanding final evaluation from the Erasmus+ Italian National Agency, achieving the highest possible score: 100 out of 100.
This important result recognises the overall quality of the project, the relevance of its objectives and the effectiveness of the activities implemented by the consortium. It also confirms MARMED as a valuable example of cooperation in vocational education and training within the Mediterranean blue economy.
Throughout its implementation, MARMED worked to strengthen the professional skills and capacities of maritime cluster managers, supporting their role in the development of more connected, innovative and sustainable blue economy ecosystems.
The project combined research, training and cooperation activities, leading to the development of practical outputs designed to respond to the needs of maritime clusters and their stakeholders. Among its main results were the MARMED e-learning platform, the implementation of pilot training activities and the preparation of recommendations for maritime cluster managers.
The final evaluation particularly reflects the commitment, expertise and collaborative approach of the entire partnership. The active involvement of project partners, associated partners, professionals, students and other blue economy stakeholders was essential to achieving high-quality and transferable results.
The recognition received by the Erasmus+ Italian National Agency represents an important achievement for the whole MARMED community and confirms the potential of the project’s methodology and outputs to support capacity building and cooperation across the Mediterranean.
Although the funded project activities have formally concluded, the knowledge, tools and relationships developed through MARMED provide a strong foundation for future initiatives promoting blue skills, innovation and sustainable development in the maritime sector.
