The 24 May 2023 Lidia Rossi, Managing Director of ForMare – Polo Nazionale per lo Shipping, presented MarMED Project in the Joint Workshop «Future Skills for Sustainable Blue Economy: What Challenges and Opportunities?» organized in the frame of the European Maritime Day 2023 in Brest, France.

MarMED Project, funded under the Erasmus+ Program, aims at developing and providing Maritime Cluster Managers with a set of specific skills and competences allowing this professional profile to represent a key driver of change at EU level, helping Clusters to become: open, collaborative, interconnected, mission-oriented, innovation-driven and, overall, SDG-driven ecosystems.

The Joint Workshop has represented a great opportunity to facilitate the dialogue between key stakeholders of the Blue Economy Sector on the crucial role of Maritime Clusters as essential boosters for innovation and diversification of the Blue Economy.

It is worth to mention that the workshop has been selected by the European Commission as an associated event of the European Vocational Skills Week 2023 and of the European Year of Skills
